👻 Haunted Carwash Returns with Anaheim Stop

The Gist: The Haunted Carwash is back for its fifth year, offering a mix of suds and scares at three Southern California car washes, including Big Wave Car Wash on Lincoln Avenue in Anaheim. Guests stay in their cars while evil clowns, fog, flashing lights, and jump scares turn an ordinary wash into a Halloween thrill.

Why It Matters: Locals can get their cars cleaned and enjoy a fright-filled night out without leaving the driver’s seat. Runs select nights Oct. 3–Nov. 1, tickets at thehauntedcarwash.com.

🌎 Anaheim Eyes 30 Million Visitors by 2028

The Gist: Visit Anaheim is projecting record-breaking tourism, with 30 million visitors expected by the 2028 Olympics, four years earlier than first planned. The city’s convention bookings are already pacing strong, with 60 events locked for 2026 and a 19% jump in hotel nights compared to this year.

Why It Matters: More visitors mean big opportunities for local hotels, restaurants, and shops. New city festivals, including comedy and culinary events, are in the works, and Anaheim will host Olympic volleyball at the Honda Center. Read more here.
