Spring is doing its thing, and you can feel it all over town. The weekends are filling up fast with egg hunts, live shows, and just about every excuse to get outside.

If you’re still figuring out Easter plans, you’re in good company, we pulled together a few ideas to make it easy. Also, that comedy festival’s coming up soon, it might be the most fun you’ll have in a food hall! Let’s get into it.

🥘 A neighborhood staple for the Sunday best

1895 S Harbor Blvd, Anaheim, CA
With Easter just around the corner, Morton's The Steakhouse is leaning into the season with a menu that feels like a true local celebration. The three-course surf and turf (pairing a tender prime filet with cold-water lobster tail) is a standout for a festive spring lunch.
For those hosting at home, the thick-cut, house-made carrot cake is a local legend; grabbing a whole one for the table is an easy way to win the holiday.

🎭 Where small stages hold big stories

Spring evenings in Anaheim feel a bit more spirited when spent at the Chance Theater. The lobby bar is a friendly spot to gather before the lights dim for a staged reading or a new musical.
Between the Friday wine nights and the upcoming punk-rock reunions on stage, there is a distinct pride in seeing such polished, award-winning craft in an intimate setting. It makes those member perks and concession discounts feel like a real neighborhood secret.

The Gist Get ready for a weekend of belly laughs and full bellies as Anaheim debuts its first-ever Stand-Up, Chow Down festival this April 3–4. The inaugural event at the historic Anaheim Packing District features a heavy-hitting comedy lineup including Adam Ray, Rosebud Baker, and local favorite Blair Socci, alongside over a dozen beloved food spots like The Kroft and Urbana. Tickets start at $27, and your admission even comes with food vouchers to sample the diverse flavors that make our local food hall so special.
Why It Matters For performers like Blair Socci, coming home after a personal loss makes this a mission to "spread joy" and honor her roots, while for local business owners like Stephen Le, it's a chance to prove that good food and great jokes are the ultimate universal languages. What a time to remember that sometimes the best medicine is a craft poutine and a really good punchline!
