๐ณ Morning Plates & Latte Breaks

With Thanksgiving on the horizon and brunch wave in full swing, 8th Haus Cafรฉ is an easy pick for lingering over a late-morning plate.
The space has a lived-in warmth that suits the season, and the menu leans comforting in all the right ways: like their bulgogi eggs benedict or ricotta-mushroom toast. Pair it with an Ube or Banana Matcha latte, and youโve got a mellow start to an eventful stretch.
๐ That โWowโ House on the Street? Could Be Yours!

๐ฆ Turkey-Day Timeout

On busy afternoons, Kids Empire gives families a breather. The place hums with happy chaos, but it stays spotless and organized, even the bathrooms.
Parents mention how gentle and helpful the team is, especially when itโs your first visit. The return-same-day perk is handy, and the kids run themselves silly so you can catch your breath even in the middle of your holiday plans.

๐ KFI's 15th PastaThon Returns to Feed SoCal Kids

The Gist: KFI AM 640's beloved PastaThon is back on Giving Tuesday, December 2nd, broadcasting live from Anaheim White House Restaurant (5am-8pm). The fundraiser supports Caterina's Club, which now feeds 25,000 children weekly across 100 locations in Southern California. Since 2010, the event has raised over $8.2 million and collected 900,000 pounds of pasta.
Why It Matters: Your donations directly help break the cycle of poverty for local families living in motels while providing job training for youth.
What's Next: Donate online now, visit partner locations like Smart & Final and Wendy's through December 7th, or drop off pasta at collection sites through December 1st.
๐พ Anaheim Hills Gears Up for Cozy Community Events

The Gist: East Anaheim Library is getting ready for a Harvest Festival on Nov. 22 with crafts, games, and treats for kids 10 and under. Canyon Hills Presbyterian is hosting a Thanksgiving Eve service on Nov. 26 with a food drive for local families. The Friends of Canyon Hills Library will hold a book sale on Nov. 24 and 25, and CHOC guilds are preparing their Holiday Tree Luncheon on Dec. 7. Mahjong games are also now offered weekly at the community center.
Why It Matters: These gatherings offer simple ways for neighbors to connect and support local programs.

Charlie Brown is a charming male Chihuahua mix.
This small, cream-colored fellow may be shy at first, but with patience and understanding, he truly blossoms. Charlie Brown appreciates the company of other dogs, finding comfort and confidence in their presence.
However, he is not suitable for a home with children. A potential adopter should be prepared to keep him on a leash until he feels at home and secure.
